Psychotherapy Methods: A Comparative Presentation
Carlo Moiso, MD (Italy) and Richard Erskine, Ph.D. (USA), with an introduction by
Mario Salvador (Spain)
Dr. Moiso will teach and demonstrate two levels of therapeutic methods: existential and functional, through decontamination, recathexis, clarification and reorientation of thoughts and affect. Dr. Erskine will teach and demonstrate the relational methods of inquiry, attunement, and involvement, as well as the methods that relieve intrapsychic conflict and support an effective therapeutic regression. During the presentations, the two presenters will interact with each other, challenging and elaborating on the other's ideas. The audience will be encouraged to be actively involved in the discussion
